Rev. William D. Coughlin, M. Div. was born in Newburyport, MA in 1940. He graduated from Sacred Hearts Grammar School, Haverhill, Massachusetts in 1954. Fr. Coughlin attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA and graduated in 1958. Following high school, Fr. Coughlin attended Cardinal O'Connell Seminary in Jamaica Plain and St. John's Seminary in Brighton, MA. He was ordained to the Sacred Priesthood by his late Eminence Richard Cardinal Cushing at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Boston, MA on May 26, 1966.

Since his ordination, Father Coughlin has served as Parochial Vicar at St. John the Evangelist Parish (Chelmsford, MA), St. Joseph's Parish (Wakefield, MA), St. Patrick's Parish (Groveland, MA) and St. Barbara's (Woburn, MA). He has received a Masters Degree from Boston State College, and also a Masters Degree in Divinity from St. John's Seminary in Brighton, MA.. He also took part in a priestly renewal program at the Center for Continuing Formation Ministry at the University of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN) in the Fall of 1989. Since 1990, Father Coughlin has served as Pastor at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (Wakefield, MA).


 


Frank Valeri was born and raised in Everett, MA of Italian immigrants. He was the oldest of two children; and educated in the Everett school system, class of 1949. He worked at Eastern Gas and Fuel Associates with his father. He entered the U.S. Army at the beginning of the Korean Conflict. He was stationed in Korea and Alaska for two years. He returned and was educated as a machinist at Market Forge. He then went on to become an MBTA bus driver.

 Frank applied to, and was accepted at a program to the Program for Permanent Deacon, where he spent four years of study. He was ordained in the 1980s from I.C. Malden. He is presently practicing ministry at the Most Blessed Sacrament in Wakefield.

Married to Kay Valeri in 1955, Frank and Kay have twin boys, Peter and Paul, and five lovely grandchildren. Frank is enjoying retirement and assisting at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish.
